Transfers
PhotoActive Video performs high quality transfers of regular 8mm and
super 8mm film to NTSC video at a real time speed of 20fps. Although
Super 8mm film was shot at approximately 18fps, when transferred at
20fps it appears smoother and flicker free. We can transfer your old
reels of film into a DVD with a flicker free image that is sharp corner
to corner, has remarkable clarity, and no hot spot.
As we all know, DVDs can become scratched over time. Therefore, we
recommend that you also purchase a Digital Tape so that you will have a
back-up copy of your film. This will allow you to discard all those old
reels, leaving you with a backup if something happens to your DVDs.
Making additional copies later on from the Digital Tape will be much
easier and less costly.
